An UPSC Topper, Shubham Kumar who has completed his  primary education in his village where he has attended Vidya Vihar Residential School till the high school and after that he moved to Jharkhand for higher studies to complete his senior education at Chinmaya Vidyalaya till 12th.

Shubham Kumar’s father works as a manager at Bank and Shubham Kumar’s mother  is a homemaker. Shubham Kumar is an IAS Topper has an elder sister who is a scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Center and where he has graduated from IIT Bombay in B.Tech in civil Engineering. 

Shubham Kumar has a clear aim since beginning to become an IAS Officer one day like he has secured a AIR-290th Rank on his first attempt in 2018 he could not clear the exam but in 2019 he appeared for the second attempt in the UPSC civil service examination and got AIR- 290th rank. Shubham was selected in Indian Defence Accounts Service(IDAS) as he was a trainee at the National Academy of Defence Financial Management Institute Pune, but he again reappeared for the third attempt for the UPSC CSE and achieved AIR-1.
