Shubhra Saxena’s academic journey began at DAV (Ranchi Zone) in Jharkhand, which is followed by a degree in Software Engineering from IIT Roorkee in 2002. Shubhra Saxena is an IAS officer who has studied with her heart and everything while she studies for an average of eight hours a day and 10-12 hours in exams during her UPSC preparation. She said it is very easy to pass the exam if one knows the concepts and believes in oneself and she quit his job at an MNC, Computer Science Corporation (CSC) after four years to prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Exam.

“Mental clarity is important,” Shubhra Saxena says of the preparation process for undergraduate majors. As a result the UPSC aspirants should prepare for the UPSC main exam first and then concentrate on the preliminary exams in the last three to four months. Her husband Shashank Gupta was her “biggest supporter” and became her strength during her four-year preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.

Shubhra Saxena an IAS officer suggested the aspirants to put forth equal efforts and be patient and diligent and try to treat the UPSC exam like any other exam and she also advised never taking notes in the first class. Go and write about second and third reading which is an important process. Someone has millions of books, and sometimes it can be intimidating. Typically, text is a brilliant idea so completing the course well and making notes will be really useful and beneficial.

Her father Mr. Ashok Chandra works as an engineer in Central Coalfields Limited’s Dhori project, while her mother Mrs. Kamana who runs their household. As the eldest of her siblings where she has been instrumental in guiding his siblings to become engineers.

Shashank Gupta is a Husband of IAS Shubhra Saxena while during an interview she said her husband was the “biggest supporter” during her 4 years of preparation for the UPSC Civil Service Examination and he works in Noida.

They got married in June 2003 and had a nine-year-old daughter as a result of their union. She was allegedly physically and mentally abused by her ex-husband, and they separated in July 2020. Shashank Gupta is an IAS officer who had visited the IAS officer’s residence in Lucknow two months ago and tried to intimidate her at Sushant Golf City police station.

Currently, Shubhra Saxena has been appointed as Deputy Secretary to the Election Commission of India for a period of 4 years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, March 12, 2022, from the date the competent authority takes over the management of the project while previously he worked as a District Judge in various districts of UP including Shrawasti, Amroha, Shahjahanpur, Bulandshahr, Hardoi and Rae Bareli etc.
